How it works — reading the MLB props table
Each row is a player and prop with the best available line and odds across major sportsbooks, alongside the analytics signals that show whether a line looks favorable. Use the filters above to narrow by sport, prop type, team, side, and minimum hit rate. BarLine is a research tool — it shows odds for comparison and does not accept wagers.
L5, L10, and H2H hit rates
Hit rate is how often a player has cleared the current line. L5 and L10 cover their last 5 and 10 games; H2H covers games against the specific opponent. Higher percentages mean the player has gone over that line more consistently in the sample.
Expected value, vig, and no-vig probability
Expected value (EV) estimates the long-run value of a line at its posted price. Vig is the sportsbook's built-in margin; the no-vig probability strips it out to estimate the book's true implied odds, giving a fairer baseline to compare against a model projection.
Arbitrage signals and the badges
An arbitrage signal flags when the best over and under prices across two books would mathematically lock in a profit on both sides. Badges next to a player highlight active over (fire) and under (snowflake) streaks, and the Skull Crusher badge marks players dominating a matchup at a 70%+ head-to-head rate.
