How it works — BarLine's prop predictions
BarLine surfaces model-generated player prop projections for the NBA, WNBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL, plus statistical-model Tennis picks for score-based markets like games and sets won. These are analytical projections for research and comparison — BarLine is not a sportsbook and does not accept wagers.
Statistical model vs. ML model
The statistical model blends recent and head-to-head hit rates with sport-specific weightings and value filters. The ML model is a machine-learning projection trained on game history. Use the toggle to view each model on its own, or the "Both Agree" view to see only the props where the two models land on the same side.
Confidence and expected value
Each card shows the model's projected value against the line, a confidence score, and expected value (EV) — an analytics estimate of how favorable the posted price is relative to the modeled probability. Higher confidence and positive EV indicate a stronger model signal.
Pregame and live context
Filter by league and by pregame or live context. For live games, cards show how a player's stat is tracking against the line in real time. For full definitions of hit rates, vig, and arbitrage, see the FAQ.
